Shirley loved to cook for her family and hosted huge holiday dinners for everyone. Her grandchildren came to love her spaghetti and would request it at all family functions. Even her great grandchildren came to refer to it as “gramma’s” spaghetti. Her peanut brittle and fudge were like no other; family and friends requested it every year at Christmastime and with Bob’s help, Shirley would make sure it got to them.

George was active in conservation and nature and loved to putter with woodworking. Early on, he did a bit of amateur racing with his 1965 Mustang and won most of his competitions. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and Gold Prospectors of America. George had a gentle soul and could tell tall tales of his life and adventures to anyone who would listen. He was born in Iowa City, Iowa to Coral and Joseph E. Petsel on September, 21, 1950. Age 70, of Richland, MO, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2022 surrounded by friends and family. She was born June 3rd 1951 to William Ray Sr. and Lottie Ashcraft in Charlotte, North Carolina.
He and Connie are members of Union Hill Baptist Church in Holts Summit, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, J.W. And Sylvia Davis Alderson; and her maternal grandparents, Tommy and Nancy Bonard. Susie has chosen to be cremated and inurnment will take place at the Jacksonville Veterans Cemetery as she was very proud to have served her country.
After her husband’s death Estelle once drove her camper up to Pike’s Peak. In 1965, Shirley met and married Kenneth Hugen. They continued to raise the family and cherished the grandchildren together until his death in 1991. Julie worked in retail sales most of her career.

Laura Raelene Snellen-Crocker, 48, of St. Martins passed away Sunday November 15, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 28, 1972 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City, a daughter of Larry Ray and Patricia Snellen. She was united in marriage on September 21, 1996 to David Crocker who survives at their home.
